What now?

So, I just don't have it in me to be clever today. Feeling blech.

I was so under the weather Friday, I was sent home from work. That has never ever happened to me...EVER. So I made it to my couch and that is where I stayed. Sick as a dog. DF came home from work to me sound asleep and Real Housewives blaring out of the TV. (Atlanta Reunion, Vol. 1)

Anyways. Weekend was tragically uneventful. But we did make a run to IKEA for a TV stand.

Me + IKEA + Too many locals + too hot in store = disaster.

I wanted to get the darn TV stand and bid that place adieu. Of course, I fill our frickin' cart with stuff I don't need.

Then as we approach the rug department, I say to DF, "Ok...we're almost out of here. It's crunch time. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT let me fall in love with anything else....wait a second...what is that...Oh GOD...it's a glorious rug, and I LOVE IT...I have to have it...oh yes, IT WILL BE MINE!"

And.....we got a rug. A 72 X 102 rug. For the living room whose tile floors hurt my feet. And the rug (which we named Sir William Thatcher and we walk all over him) was at the bargain price of $149. I. Shit. You. Not.

Anyways, I'll get some pics up of the new condo soon. I'm sorry. I'm a deadbeat blogger. Just trying to get into a routine and it's harder than it seems.

Awe DF!

I slept massively late today. I don't know what came over me. It was a combo of being overtired, the rain here in Florida and sleeping with earplugs in.

DF gets up by 6AM, so he was long gone by the time my eyes opened.

I just grabbed my laptop, to check my email and Facebook, plus write my previous post.

DF walked into our room, kissed and hugged me, and put a bagel with my favorite cream cheese on the bed for me. Then he left to go take Duncan out for a walk.

I am so friggin lucky.

So.

I need help. Why is it so friggin' difficult to put up a button URL?

What is a button URL?  ...well, that's the problem. I don't know. I'm a mac for crying out loud. I don't know HTML. And I need a button URL. Which I have no clue how to create.

What is HTML anyways? Man, I wish I was a graphic designer. Or knew one.

Anyways, I just put my blog on Picket Fence Blogs and there is a button on the left. If you click it, it will vote for me on their site and I don't have to be a loser with no votes. I'm #871 out of....you guessed it....871 blogs.

I'll be honest, I read so many of those blogs, I know all these women's lives. It's amazing. They are all super talented and resourceful. I know if you peek around you'll become virtual friends with them too.

Look, I don't need to be #1. But I'm going to be honest, knowing people are reading my stuff has given me more excitement than I've had in a while. So, thank you to my readers. All 4 of you.
